Guest guest
I've always bought canned garbanzos but recently purchased organic dried and there are no directions. If you prepare these beans from scratch and would share your tried and true process, I would sure appreciate it. Thanks in advance Deanna in Colorado
Guest guest
I soak them in cool water for a few hours, rinse water out and refill, add bay leave(s) and a tsp olive oil and either pressure cook or boil until soft. Add salt and other seasonings if desired.
Guest guest
Thanks, I suspected that they were to be prepared like most dry beans but wasn't sure. I will add the bay leaf and olive oil and some of my other favorite herbs. I can't wait to make hummus with my freshly cooked Garbanzos.
