Guest guest Posted January 1, 2009 Report Share Posted January 1, 2009 I am new to the Vegetarian Group. My name is Ann, I'm 57, and live in Ojai, CA, USA. I look forward to recipes and e-mails in your group. I have been meat-free for several months and, as I am no cook, I need to learn how to fulfill my needs with variety...my cooking is very bland, stir fries or steamed, and I haven't got the hang or knack of seasoning to taste. Eating out all the time is not a financially viable alternative, even though I live in a town with excellent restaurants and delis for vegetarians. I have a small collection of cook books, mostly for their artistic style, but hope to try some of their recipes soon and will be glad to share my opinions with you.
