Guest guest
Nice and spicy, which I enjoy very much. You can do so many things with quinoa. Have you looked inside the recipe folders? So many great tried and true recipes. I haven't opened my cookbooks in almost a year. Mary Hi everyone, my name is Linley and I am a new member. I have been reading all the posts and have already picked up some wonderful tips and recipes. I enclose my favourite quinoa recipe which is well loved by vegetarians and non-vegos alike. Look forward to learning more and more. Kindest regards Linley The crisp tang of fresh limes is great with the spicy curry flavour in this Indian-style salad. Quinoa is packed with carbs and complete proteins that are so good you're left happily stuffed - and energised. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 to 20 & #8239;minutes or until quinoa is transparent and liquid is absorbed. Cool and transfer to a large bowl. Add carrots, chickpeas, onions, almonds and sultanas. Toss. In a bowl, combine ¬remaining lime juice, zest, remaining oil, ¼ tsp salt and ½ tsp pepper. Whisk well to blend.
