Guest guest
Hi, My mother tried this and she suggested that i too make it for dinner. I made it yesterday and my husband loved it. So thought of sharing it with ull. Its Indian rice dish. 2-3 leaves of spinach, cut thinly 1/2 onion, cut into small pieces 4-5 spoons of boiled peas 4-5 spoons of green chutney 2 finely chopped chillies (might require at the end) salt to taste oil 3/4 cup cooked rice *for chutney 1 cup of cilantro 1/2 spoon sugar 1 spoon grated coconut (fresh preferable) (should not skip) 1/2 spoon lemon juice 2 green chillies salt to taste. ~churn all these ingredients for chutney in small mixer. and keep it ready while making pulav. *method for pulav. 1. heat oil in pan and add onions. 2. then add spinach and let it cook. the onions should turn pink and spinach should be cooked. This might take 2-3 min. 3. then add the cooked rice, chutney and the boiled peas. 4. Mix properly. If required put salt and finely chopped chillies. 5. Serve this hot. ~this can be served with either Indian Kadhi (liquid preparation of yogurt and chickpea flour) or Plain cold yogurt. Hope ull enjoy this.
