These sound good Deanna. I'm still working on my recipe. I use cooked quinoa

in mine, I haven't worked with quinoa flour.

Quinoa Pan Patties Ole'

 

 

 

Filled with protein, nice texture and good taste. Easy and fast.

My experiment for this Sunday morning.

 

Quinoa Pan Patties Ole'

 

1 cup Quinoa Flour

1 egg, slightly beaten

2 Tablespoons salsa (hot or mild)

2 Tablespoons small curd cottage cheese

1/2 Tablespopn Olive Oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Dash of onion/garlic powder(optional)

 

In a small boul, add slightly beaten egg, salsa ,cottage cheese, olive oil, salt

and pepper and additional herbs and spices of your choosing.

Add Quinoa Flour just until moistened.

 

Drop by rounded spoonsfull onto hot skillet with a scant amount of Olive oil.

Flatten with a spoon to make rounded patties.

 

Brown on both sides

Serve hot or cold with shredded cheese and salsa and garnish with fresh Cilantro

Makes apx. 5 med. size patties

Thanks Donna,

You are an inspiration to me setting such a great example for trying new food

items, experimenting and creating new recipes.

I like the texture of these patties and I think I will be able to adapt this

recipe for Vegans.
