We had these today and they were wonderful. The kids said they tasted like

chic'n I dont think they did but they did taste good. I also made vegan brats,

chipotle potato salad and baked beans. We didnt have room for the watermelon so

we will be enjoying it later this afternoon. I am happy to have a use for all

those dandelions that pop up all over my yard :)

Now I'm curious and have to try doing this.

Thanks for letting us know how well everyone liked them.

Cherie,

I've tried the dandelion flowers mixed into a " stir " fry or something like

my " mixed veggies in the steamer " thing, but I have not " fried " them yet.

I, too would think it great to find a " food use " for all those yellow

pop-ups in my

yard, since I don't do the conventional thing (like my neighbors do) by spraying

them

all dead with weed-killer stuff.

When you fried the dandelion blossoms, did you put them in a batter...fry

them in

some kind of  oil or something like that?  I don't do much of that kind of

" frying " , but

would probably try it out once or twice to see if I liked it.  Do you do

anything to the

flowers before to prepare them for " battering " or whatever?  Maybe you posted

this

earlier and I missed it; if so, would you mind re-posting again?  I am curious

about it

all now!

     THANKS!  Have a great week!

PS: What kind of vegan brats did you have?  That sounds like a great " cook-out

meal " to me!
