Guest guest
This sounds amazing. Some things I never think to bread & fry, such as olives, which I had in Milan, Italy, & brought tears to my eyes. Can't wait to try this. Thanks, Woody. --- On Tue, 8/4/09, Woody Hard <woody3381 wrote: Woody Hard <woody3381 Fried Goat Cheese with Mint " Vegetarian " Tuesday, August 4, 2009, 8:19 AM Fried Goat Cheese with Mint 1 log of goat cheese, 12 ozs, well chilled flour for coating 1 egg, well beaten with 1/4 tsp.dried thyme and a grating of fresh nutmeg vegetable oil for frying 1 small onion, finely chopped 1 tbsp. balsamic or red wine vinegar 1 tbsp. olive oil salt and freshly ground pepper to taste 1/2 cup chopped fresh mint leaves Slice the cheese into 1/2 inch rounds.
