Guest guest
Is this sold at GNC? As I was breifly walking by a GNC in the mall I looked inside to see a fairly large selection of Green supplements. I was wondering if they were any good, as I am getting a colonic series starting in a few weeks. I was wondering if they would aid in the process between visits. You can reply direct to keep from cluttering things up. I'm just wondering if anyone has ever used All Day Energy Greens powder by The Institute for Vibrant Living in AZ. I received a booklet about it in the mail and it looks really good, but it is also really pricey, so I would like to know if anyone has tried it and if they liked it. Supposedly, it contains: chlorella-cracked cell, barley grass juice powder, spirulina powder, Nova Scotia dulse, cactus powder, soy lecithin powder, apple pectin, apple fiber, red raspberry powder, acerola berry juice powder, flaxseed meal, aloe vera juice powder, beet juice powder, watercress juice powder, yucca juice powder, parsley juice powder, ginger powder, spinach juice powder, vitamin C, rose hips, bioflavonoids, vitamin E, royal jelly, deglycyrrhized licorice root powder, horsetail, suma, siberian ginseng ext., damiana, silymarin silibum marianum std., astragalas membranaceous, echinacea, ginkgo biloba std. ext., green tea catechins std. ext., grape seed std. ext., stevia, natural plant enzymes, carrot juice powder and alfalfa leaf powder. It is organic and doesn't contain allergens and dyes, etc. It is supposed to give you lots of energy, aid in weight loss, aid in getting rid of toxins and mucus, improve your skin, etc., etc. I am mainly interested because it might be a way to get past the weight loss plateau and get rid of toxins like BPA and metals. I eat a decent amount of fruits and veggies, but not everything that is in this stuff. Any thoughts? Mary in MI
Guest guest
Hello, I started a Greens powder supplement the beginning of January that is Canadian made and designated as a bone builder. It apparently has research to back it's veracity. They said I would notice a difference in 3 months. I take it 5 days a week added to water. I take a lot of supplements including omega 3 oil and flaxseed oil. I cancelled a foot joint surgery bc it stopped bothering me as much, even though the injury is still there. I have less stiffness for sure and some have commented on my skin, such as it looks healthy and glowy, smooth. The texture of the skin on my arms and legs is like silk. I am 60 years of age. So I am not sure what this is about but I figure I must be doing something right. The Greens are pricey, no question, but I sip at it most of the day, I take it to work in a traveller instead of a coffee. peace paula --- On Wed, 2/4/09, Cassie Dixon <roxy87cabriolet wrote: Cassie Dixon <roxy87cabriolet Re: All Day Energy Greens - OT Received: Wednesday, February 4, 2009, 9:45 AM Is this sold at GNC? Guest guest
In response to both posts about the all day energy greens, I'd like to say that this actually does sound like a good thing to post on here because usually vegetarians tend to dabble in supplements more often in order to make certain we're getting all the essential nutrients our bodies need. Personally, I think we should get all our nutrients from the food we eat, but we do not live in a perfect world and therefore, need a little help sometimes! I just purchased Life's Greens, a green probiotic powder from Puritan's Pride that I ordered online. It dissolves fairly well in grape juice and doesn't taste too unpleasant. Just started yesterday and well, I can't tell if I feel any more energetic than normal, but I resumed walking and exercising again and cutting out sweets and all of this combined is making me feel really good. I can't see anything bad from taking the green powders because they are chuck full of antioxidants and nutrient-rich superfoods. I think for those experiencing colonics, taking probiotics is very beneficial.
