Guest guest Posted June 4, 2009 Report Share Posted June 4, 2009 Hi Jeanne, This isn’t about the cheerios but about your acquiring canned carrots and beets from hubby’s shopping foray. If you still have the canned carrots and canned beets, you can drain most of the liquid from the beets and throw the rest of both cans in a blender. Purée and mix it with 2 cans of tomato sauce. This can be seasoned turned into spaghetti sauce and no one will ever know the carrots and beets are there. The color settles from the brighter tones to tomatoey-red as it cooks.
