Well, I had to test it, of course!! It was great warm, but crisp when baked in

the oven. Now I'm wishing I hadn't sent most of it home with our son! My

daughter in love hinted that she'd looooooove the pineapple truffles I invented

for her Christmas present a couple of Christmas's ago, so I'm going to have to

find some candied pineapple this weekend, lol. Of course Jon will want his white

chocolate Jingle Bell truffles I invented for his present, the Blobs I invented

for his late fiancee......

Nope, not gonna share two of those recipes as some century I'm entering them in

a contest. But here's the Blobs - sorry, no actual amounts since I toss it

together.

Blobs

Rice Krispies

GOOD milk chocolate  (not chocolate chips for cookies)

bag caramels, unwrapped (someone actually asked me if they should unwrap them)

1 tablespoon cream or half and half

Melt chocolate, pour over Rice Krispies cereal, stil till coated. Drop onto

buttered parchment paper, waxed paper or buttered marble pastry board. Let

harden.

Melt caramel, add cream. While still runny, dribble caramel over the blobs. Let

sit to harden or refrigerate to harden. Store in an air-tight container. If more

than one layer, put waxed paper between layers of candy. Ships VERY well.

Tastes like a 10,000 Grand candy bar. For our dear Susan, I added mini

marshmallows to the chocolate and Krispie layer. (they are not vegan friendly) I

have also added chopped cashews, chopped macadamia nuts or roasted peanuts,

whatever is on hand. You can do without the cream in the caramel, but the

drizzled caramel will then be a little harder than the caramel in the Grand bar.

Another variation on Blobs

Make Rice Krispie treats re the recipe on the box

Add a cup of mini chocolate chips or mini vanilla chips

Melt caramel as above.

Pat in pan, let harden, cut and remove from pan then drizzle melted caramel on

top.

Or forget the candy, melt caramels, add a little cream and pour hot caramel

syrup over vanilla ice cream.
