Guest guest
I really like ziti or corkscrew shaped pasta. I bake it in the oven with veggies and cheese. Or no chesse just pasta with veggies and canned Mexican flavored tomatoes with herbs on top and bake. GeGee
Guest guest
I like to add orzo the rice shaped pasta in soups. My very favorite is plain old spaghetti with sauce. Or lasagna noodles. Mark

Guest guest
I only use Barilla pasta. ?My favorite is angel hair followed by their piccolini which is all the traditional pasta shapes but in miniature. ?Cooks very quickly. ? On the angel hair some of my favorites are my traditional sauce that I cook forever, garlic and oil and lots of parmesan, ?a fresh uncooked sauce that consists of ?summer tomatoes, minced garlic, ?fresh basil and fresh mozzarella or fresh baby spinach sauteed in garlic and oil. ?When I'm in a hurry and want pasta, I nuke a package of frozen Green Veggies....their immunity blend or healthy weight and dump it over the pasta (again using lots of parmesan). ? I use the piccolino for all other pasta dishes...a salad made with corn and black beans with garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and lots of cumin; macaroni salad, mac and cheese, etc.

Guest guest
We love the multi-grain pasta by Barilla. We mostly use their angel hair, spaghetti, spiral and penne noodles. They seem light enough and have a great texture to them. Spaghetti and vegetable lasagna are very popular in our home. Also cold Thai noodle salad(use angel hair for that). I use fine egg noodles when I make homemade vegetarian Potato " chicken " (Fri-chik) noodle soup. I add cooked Raman noodles( no seasoning pkg) at the end of stir frying veggies and toss them with it. Elbow macaroni we enjoy in our minestrone - Italian Vegetable Soup. Love to stir in some fresh pesto into some cooked angel hair pasta. Also use the angel hair pasta when we make Pesto Pasta - Fusilli pasta with our Pasta with Tomatoes and Dill recipe. All of these recipes are in the files. Wagon wheel and alphabet pasta look special in soup recipes. Trader Joe's has a nice medium size alphabet pasta. Also the Trader Joe Saffron noodles are great. Target stores have a lemon pepper pasta in their store brand that is delicious. Also the Al Dente Noodles are a favorite here. They cook up fast, have many great flavors and are so tender. Most grocery stores carry them, but Amazon has them for the best price. You will find them in cellophane bags with a twist tie. http://www.aldentepasta.com/food/pasta/pasta.html http://www.amazon.com/Al-Dente-Sesame-Linguine-12-Ounce/dp/B000FZWSI2 So many delicious recipes are in our pasta recipe folder. I gotta get in there and make some more. Our fabulous members have shared some wonderful recipes that are filed in there. %2ARecipes/Pasta%20%20%28pa\ sta%20salads%20in%20salad%20folder%29/ Judy - wwjd Friday, July 31, 2009 10:10 PM Question of the Week-What kind of pasta noodles do you like & how do you use them Time for another Question of the Week- What kind of pasta noodles do you like and what kind of dishes do you use them in?
