Good for you! Giving up cheese and dairy is so good for your health

I am vegan and have found most brands of non-dairy cheese still

contain cheese protein called casien. That is the protein that binds

the cheese and makes it melty. Unfortunately this is also the protein

that makes many people feel ill.

 

I like to make a cheesy sauce for my vegetables and to dip stuff in.

It's pretty easy to make. I am sure there are many recipes like this

but here's the link to my favorite.

I also sprinkle nutritional yeast on things when i want a cheesy flavor.

 

I have not found a commercial cheese I like but I am sure they are out

there. I live in a rural area so there aren't many stores that carry

this sort of specialty item.
