Guest guest
O.k. I bought this funny looking stuff in both firm and soft. Now what do I do with it? Ha, Ha! I'm new to this so please be patient with me Seriously, how do you prepare the tofu? Roni
Guest guest
Go to our home page and click on files and then recipes from the side bar. Look in the breakfast files for the scrambled " egg " and baked tofu slices, the Marvi-Whip(like a mayo) in the Sauces, Marinades, Gravies, Pesto & Condiments and then click on the condiments folder. Also look in the " Substitutes for meat , fish & dairy...all non-meat patties " and click on the individual folders within that group of recipe. The Ethnic files have some too I think. Guest guest
In the recipe files we have a huge folder of recipes. Go to the recipe files and click on Substitutions and then you will see a tofu folder under soy. Guest guest
You don't taste the tofu at all in the smoothie. Just makes it thick. Even my kids like the tofu smoothies. You can also add it to eggs and scramble them up. Can't taste it and makes the eggs go further. , Julie Rodriguez <novemeberbabyboy1 wrote: > > I am not a big fan of tofu, its a once in a blue moon item. But I keep seeing smoothies with the ingredient silken tofu. What does it taste like in a smoothies or does it just thicken it. > thanks >
Guest guest
I have baked slices of tofu that were marinated in Bragg's Amino and put into nutritional yeast, baked in the oven til a little crunchy and yummy. Actually I liked them even uncooked with just the Bragg's and no nutritional yeast. I am weird. Guest guest
I forgot to say I use the tofu in the sealed aceptic cartons, firm. It stays a little bit soft but is good. I'm sure you could use the firm/extra firm pkgd in water also. Kandy
