Guest guest
Try the Morningstar Farms Veggie Italian-Style Sausage sauteed with onions and green peppers. Sprinkle in some red pepper flakes. Then spoon on a toasted sour dough roll, rustic french bread or Ciabatta Bread . It is really good. You can even add some rinsed and drained sauer kraut to the saute. Morningstar Farms® Veggie Sausage Links are really good. We like to bake them. Then dice some up in a bowl of grits with some cheese and stir together. Judy . Guest guest
I agree with Judy! These are great with peppers or pasta or peppers with sausage and onions in a good roll. Molto bene! Also good when added to white beans. Morningstar farms products lend themselves to so many recipes. I made " bacon, egg, cheese on bagels with all vegetarian products and they were to " die for " Namaste mary On Behalf Of wwjd Thursday, June 25, 2009 8:41 AM Re: MSF Veggie Italian-Style Sausage Try the Morningstar Farms Veggie Italian-Style Sausage sauteed with onions and green peppers. Guest guest
Mary, that bacon is my favorite MSF product -- I use it on sandwiches. Your bagels sound wonderful! Audrey S. Guest guest
I'm curious about the Veg. bacon as I've never had it. Back when I ate the M word one of my favorite dishes (and very unhealthy) was bacon and cabbage. You cut up a package of bacon, fry it and add the cabbage to cook. Of course what cooked the cabbage was the bacon. Is the Veg product " greasy " enough to do this? Thanks Sam Mary, that bacon is my favorite MSF product -- I use it on sandwiches. Guest guest
I, too, buy MSF's bacon and it's pretty good, but....no, not greasy enough to use it for what you want. Guest guest
I'll have to try the bacon. With tomatoes coming in, BLT (even F(fake)BLT) will be in order.
