" They " say it tastes the same as the regular one, but I think it has a little bit more of a crunchy nutty yummyness. My daughter, in Arlington, Texas, bought some red quinoa the other day. I can't wait to try it as I have only had regular quinoa before. Just remember to be sure to rinse the quinoa 4 or 5 times, well, before you cook it. I love quinoa. I bought it the first time in 1987 at a Windstar Symposium in Snowmass, Colorado. I had never heard of it and didn't know anyone else, where I lived, who had either. It was very hard to find back then.....now it is just a matter of living close to a Whole Foods or other good health food type store. I use it in place of brown rice in some recipes and love to add it to soup. Nancy C. East Texas I've never tasted quinoa and never heard of it until I joined here. Our Co-Op has regular in the bulk bins and alternates between the black and red in another bin. I've had the red but haven't tried the black yet.
