Guest guest
i totally agree Gary. i have found when I eat healthy i don't crave the bad stuff anymore. being a veg one can still eat bad, and I have... Such as bad carb snacks, luckily i don't do it often, but when i do I feel " heavy " and crave more bad stuff. When I then eat healthier, I don't crave it anymore, and i actually crave the good stuff, even the greens! I fell off the veg wagon back in December, after being a vegetarian for 4 years. I am heading back on the wagon now, as now, every time i eat meat, i get cramps! blessings, Chanda Gary wrote: > > > I have only been a " near " vegan for the last 2.5 weeks. Guest guest
Are you kidding? I fight the sugar, junk food and cigarette urge every single day. I could easily sit and eat these things: a dozen jelly donuts, large bag of potatp chips, a pound of candy, 5 orders of large fries, whole fruit pie, stick of butter and a huge bag of Cheetos. I have been a vegetarian for almost 30 years and the craving is always there. I haven't smoked cigarettes for over 10 yrs and I could easily start smoking again with the drop of a hat. I'm Donna I'm a recovered junk food addict and a recovered tobacco addict. I will never say never, I just do each day as it comes but the urges are always there. Guest guest
LMAO! Too funny, Donna. I hear that and raise you a bag of Cheetos! One day at a time with the salty-sweet sugar and junk cravings, eh? ~ PT ~ There was an Old Woman lived under the hill And if she's not gone, she lives there still. ~ traditional British rhyme ````````````````````````````````````````` , thelilacflower wrote: > > Are you kidding? Guest guest
I'm like Donna, I'm a huge sugar addict -- cookies, brownies, cake, chocolate candy. Usually has to be chocolate. Could really care less about salty stuff -- except for CHEETOS... I can't buy them anymore because they really are, seriously, addictive for me! I don't have an addictive personality, never had any addiction problems, but CHEETOS.... oh my. Meat substitutes pretty much fix my meat cravings. I used to think I could never be a vegetarian because I liked a good fillet mignon too much -- but the last few times I had a steak (over 2 years ago), it just didn't taste very good and I couldn't finish it. Guest guest
I can't be the most addicted person but when I say, OK enough is enough you are going to make a change, oh man! I'm like a drill sarg. I need help from no one, I will do it on my own. I have my cravings under control but I can easily fall off the wagon, if that happens get your butt right back on and start over again. Never hate yourself for it, we are human and to be human is to error now and then.
