Recipe for Veggetable Biryani

Hey All,

This is really nice and tasty Indian recipe of my own which I tried yesterday

and I would like to share with you all

 

Vegetable Pulav

 

2 cup rice

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp oil

1 cup diced potato

1 cup diced cauliflower

1 tomato diced

½ cup green peas

2 carrots diced in small pieces

1 cup mixed peppers (green,yellow, red)

3 tbsp biryani masala

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp red chilli powder

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp pepper

1 tsp kitchen king masala

1 tsp taco seasoning

½ tsp cinnomom powder

Pinch of cardamom powder

Salt per taste

 

1. take water in pan abt 4 cups when it comes to boil add salt and then add

rice..cook the rice but it should not be fully cooked, take it up from the flame

when its abt to cook fully and drain the excess water and let it cool

2. in another pan put 1 tbsp of butter and 1 tbsp of oil, when its hot enough

add cardamom and cinnamon powder then add diced carrots and tomatoes. On the

other side cook cauliflower and potatoes for about 3 ½ mins in microwave.

3. to the pan add now mixed peppers and green peas and cooked cauliflower and

potatoes. Now add biryani masala, kitchen king masala and salt as per taste

4. now take another pan add the remaing butter and oil, when its hot add

paprika, red chilli powder, black pepper, taco seasoning, garlic powder and then

add ric and mix it all well till is all.

5. now add the rice to the veggi mixture nicely and add some cilantro for

garnishing.

6. you can have the rice with plain yogurt or sour cream or even with onion

raita….
