At least that is what I have been told -- I scald, remove skin and can. I have a 21cuft freezer but it seems to be full all the time. Lisa **************An Excellent Credit Score is 750. Guest guest
YES! That's what I'm most excited about, tomato soup with cream and fresh basil! I don't mind the seeds, either, but I do NOT like tomato skins in soups. My mom always used to do that, and they curl up and make those funny-looking little spears that stick in your teeth... ick! So I throw them in boiling water and take the skins off before I freeze them. I have a roma tomato plant in my mom's yard that should be producing in a month or so... I'm looking forward to stocking up on frozen romas for soup this winter! Audrey S. > _._,___ >
