The other day, I steamed the broccoli very lightly (there was still

some crunch to it) and then we dipped it in ranch dressing.

We also like to roast it with olive oil and salt.

WE eat broccoli on a regular basis-steamed with a little salt is usually it. For

Christmas (just

the two of us this year) my husband requested broccoli. I'm looking for a good

recipe that is

more interesting than the every day steamed, plain veggie. What are your

favorites? It

doesn't need to be vegan, but I'm looking to avoid broccoli cheese type recipes.

THANKS and

happy holidays!

My husband loves broccoli baked with a mustard/mayo combo sauce on it.

I do not like it at all but maybe if I used veganaise it would be

better. Its just enough mayo with a little mustard for flavor, to coat

the broccoli.

Merry Christmas,

Cherie

My mom does that with cauliflower.  She will take the whole head, micro for

about five mins, then put a mayo/mustard mix on it, and top with cheddar cheese

and pop back in micro long enough to melt the cheese.
