Guest guest
I had my usual. Steel cut oatmeal with flax meal and cinnamon sprinkled on and topped with banana and soy milk. Should be boring but I eat it every day and am not bored yet. The predicted ice this morning didn't happen thankfully because the temperature is slightly over 32 going up to 50. That MD for you. Don't even bother to listen to the weather because it is never correct. Not the guys fault. It's just the area. Looking out the window works for me. I also have a new thermostat which displays outside temperature - really like that. Before I just stuck my head the north door :>) Diana --- On Wed, 12/24/08, Marilyn Daub <mcdaub wrote: Marilyn Daub <mcdaub Re: As you eat breakfast this morning, Wednesday, December 24, 2008, 7:21 AM I have eggs almost every morning for breakfast (wish they were fresh), and my cholesterol is 66!!! Guest guest
I feel like I can pretty much eat all the eggs and dairy I want, cholesterol-wise, because I don't eat meat and don't get it from that source. (I'm also in my 20's and pretty healthy, though) Major advantage of going vegetarian! High cholesterol runs on both sides of my family, but my aunt, who is in her 50's and also vegetarian, had a really low cholesterol reading last time she was tested, like Marilyn. Audrey S. Guest guest
Thanks, and I am 65. My doctor said if anyone read my vitals, they would think I was in my 20s. He says mine are better than his, and he is a health nut!!! Guest guest
Today, I'm having a Boco burger with peppermint tea. I love peppermint tea with Benifiber every morning. Some mornings I have eggs (not worried about cholesterol) or if I'm running late is toast with peanut butter. My breakfasts always have a lot of protein so I can get a good start on the day. Guest guest
That is a good breakfast, Diana. We had the ice storm yesterday afternoon and last night. It is over now and melted. Guest guest
Marilyn, I just wrote you a private email. I live in Olive Hill. Maybe we can have a vegetarian lunch together sometime. And we had bagels this morning....ones with lots of seeds that we recently found in Whole Foods - don't get there too often. Guest guest
My son in MA has 18 inches of snow. A lovely white Christmas. Much easier traveling here though. Guest guest
I found it one day at my regular grocery store. It's great! I hadn't had it for over 20 years, but I was looking for foods to boost my iron (so I could give platelets) and someone recommended cream of wheat. I have it almost every morning now! , mrs.fabulous wrote: > > Whole grain cream of wheat? I LOVE cream of wheat. Have not had it for years...
