Guest guest
In February 2009, Mercy For Animals teamed up with Compassion Over Killing and the Animal Protection & Rescue League as well as compassionate consumers everywhere to urge BOCA to stop using eggs in its products. We're excited to announce that less than two months after BOCAEggFacts.com was launched, the company announced that it is indeed going to stop using eggs! A company spokesperson announced yesterday: * " I am pleased to let you know the BOCA brand will be eliminating eggs in all of its products by the end of this year. We anticipate all BOCA products will be egg free in 2010. " *
Guest guest
I've wondered why so many of these products use eggs. I would think that using something else as a binder would be cheaper, especially since eggs have gone up in price so drastically lately. Thanks for sharing, Sue! Audrey S.
