Guest guest Posted May 20, 2009 Report Share Posted May 20, 2009 Vegetarian Apple Sandwich Wrap 2 medium apples 1 cup water 2 Tablespoons lemon juice 3 Tablespoons mayo of your choice 3 Tablespoons mustard (regular or brown) 6 flour tortillas (lard free) 12 oz. veggie lunchmeat of your choice 12 oz. sandwich cheese of your choice 3 cups chopped lettuce (romaine, iceberg, etc) Core apples but don't peel. Cut apples into thin slices and place in water with lemon juice to prevent browning. In small bowl mix mayo and mustard. Remove apples from water and pat dry. Spread each tortilla with mayo mixture, layer with 2 slices of veggie lunchmeat, 2 slices of cheese, apple slices and lettuce. Roll tightly and cut in half diagonally. Optional: I like to add sliced onions and olives to mine. Barn's burnt down ....... now I can see the moon.
