Guest guest Posted August 3, 2009 Report Share Posted August 3, 2009 4 large fresh tomatoes (preferably local) 4 Tbs olive oil Pepper to taste 10 oz. mozzarella cheese 8 fresh basil leaves, torn into strips Cut tomatoes into fourths, and then into thin slices. Arrange tomato slices onto four plates. Spoon 1 tbs olive oil over tomatoes on each plate. Sprinkle with pepper. Lay medium slices of mozzarella over tomatoes and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
