My sister is vegan, so I get many good ideas from her. My first recipe is quite simple and very good for the hot summer months. Watermelon Granita 4 cups half-inch cubed seedless watermelon 1/2 cup sugar 2 tablespoons fresh lemon or lime juice Puree the ingredients in a blender. Pour into a 9 by 13 inch pan and place in the freezer. Stir with a fork every 30 minutes or so until the mixture is slushy. It's cold, sweet and very tasty. Enjoy.
