Guest guest
These are wonderful and freeze well after baked. We made these at Summer camp this summer as a treat for the Vegans. They loved them. They were good right out of the freezer, where we kept a stash of them always. Applesauce Cookies - Vegan - Makes 40 cookies 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. oil 1/2 c. nuts 1 c. applesauce 1/2 t. salt 1 t. vanilla 4 c. quick or old fashioned dry oats 1 c. of craisins - use more if you like 1/2 chopped nuts (optional) Blend the sugar and oil and then mix in the remaining ingredients. Drop by spoonfuls onto a sprayed cookie sheet. Bake @ 325 for 20 -25 minutes.
