I slice mine into little cubes and flash boil (in barely enough water

to cover; so then the water becomes watery sauce).. The tempeh

should smell good as soon as you open the pkg (and not have too much

of the grey black areas).. Then I pour water and tempeh into bowl..

let cool a few minutes (so the hot tempeh doesnt cook the olive oil/

lime I add later).. Eat like this or add: salt, pepper, vinegar,

lemon or lime, oil, cilantro, roasted garlic (all optional / to taste)..

Thanks! I loved tempeh the first time I ever had it from a (no longer in

business) small health food/organic/natural store that had a lunch special every

day, $5 sampler of any 3 of their offerings, ALL yummy! I had never seen it

before.
