This recipe might be what you are looking for. They color it purple, using

food coloring. It is a Hot Pepper Jelly.

jelly,or preserves, and has a dark, purplish color? Also, it is EXTREMELY hot in

taste. I am told that it is served with shish kabob(if that helps). If anyone

can advise me on where to buy this or make it, I would appreciate it.

I think this might be the recipe, which I am looking for! Thanks to all of

you...especially Judy, and Maureen who replied to my post. I've been busy

lately, that's why I haven't replied sooner. My boyfriend is going to make it

for me this weekend. He is the one who does the canning and so forth.

Glad to help. I hope you find it to be just what you are looking for. We

love pepper jelly poured over a block of cream cheese and served with some

stoned wheat crackers. Sooooooo good.

My mom gets some kind of raspberry-jalapeno jelly and does that. Good stuff!
