Guest guest
I would be interested in that, too. I tried to develop one myself, but it was a total disaster! Guest guest
Have you tried the Morningstar Farm frozen Breakfast links, Worthington/Loma Linda Little Links or Sausettes? They are all delicious and great vegetarian alternatives! I know it isn't a recipe, but you can bake, microwave, or stove top cook any of these in just a few minutes. Now we have several recipes for vegetarian sausage in our recipe files. They are under " substitutes for meat " and then in the sub folder " not pig " . Here's the link. %2ARecipes/Substitutes%20fo\ r%20meat%20%2C%20fish%20%26%20dairy...all%20non-meat%20patties%20/Not-pig/ Enjoy, Judy - fitzydread Sunday, June 14, 2009 9:26 AM Needed: help with a veggie sausage roll recipe Hi There Everyone, Does anyone have a veggie sausage roll recipe they can share, I am keen to make some but can't find a recipe. Guest guest
I'm fairly sure that Fitzy is based in the UK, Judy, so those Morningstar and Worthington products are not available over here. However there are vegetarian and vegan sausages and sausage mixes, which she should be able to find in her local health food store or also in any large supermarket. I don't know the names of these products because I don't eat them, but I see them in the shops all the time, so they are readily available over here. Guest guest
Check out the http://www.adventistbookcenter.com/ and click on store locator on the left side bar. They have locations all over the world. Also most Adventist hospitals around the world will sell them to you. http://www.adventisthospitals.info/ The Adventist Book Center don't list their health foods on the website, but they have wonderful health food stores in all their locations. They carry tons of selections of meat substitutes and seasonings, frozen, dried, refrigerator, canned, etc. Agar agar, vegetarian gel products, and so much more. Go have fun exploring all that is available to you. Guest guest
Thanks for this information, Judy. There are no Adventist hospitals over here and the store finder shows just one store in Lincolnshire, which would be way too far away for me to visit, but hopefully may be of interest for members south of the border. But there are an abundance of whole food and health food stores over here and plenty of meat substitutes available for those that want them.
