Guest guest
I LOVE Food Network, but they do not (to my knowledge) have a strictly vegetarian show I wish, and I enjoy watching the programs. I guess I just tune it out when I am not interested in a specific (animal) part. There are some other shows like on BBC or other networks, I just don't get them Good luck, Cassie --- On Tue, 3/17/09, Mindy-n-Shawn <hunnybunns4233 wrote: Mindy-n-Shawn <hunnybunns4233 The Food Network Tuesday, March 17, 2009, 3:00 PM Group, Can someone help me out here? Is there a cooking show on the Food Network that is strictly vegetarian? I tried looking on their website, but found no such thing. I would think being a network dedicated to nothing but food that they would have some type of cooking show for us vegetarians. If you know of one please let me know. Also if you know the days and time the show airs. Thanks so much for your help!! Hugs, Mindy
Guest guest
Mindy....There is no vegetarian cooking show on the food network. You would think there would be. Guest guest
interesting subject. India and other countries probably have more vegetarians than we have total population. their produce/spices may not be found here and program translations would be needed. the two groups below may have both video and printed resources for us. it would be great if it is not copywrited etc. Mormon's were founded by a joseph smith who made his rule that, to be a member of their Laterday Saint's church, they could never ever eat meat of any kind. he gave in on one condition, that they could eat the family pet or whatever, if there was an impending death from starvation-period. Mormons should have vegetarian meal archives. i attended a wonderful cooking class, using only vegan ingredients, at a local church named Seveth-day Adventists. here they used to be considered a cult because, like Jews, saturday is their Christian sunday. they may also have huge vegetarian archives as well. finally, this link describes Vegie Oil Drops. great easy reading but don't try to buy the stuff. i just wasted a lot of time trying to get passed what seemed like repetative endless telephone recordings. http://www.squidoo.com/yummytummy blessings - love all - jim - jan4ha Mindy....There is no vegetarian cooking show on the food network. Guest guest
Perhaps if a large group contacted Food Network requesting an all Vegetarian show, they just might listen???? http://www.foodnetwork.com/contact-us/package/index.html
Guest guest
>There's also a vegetarian cooking show on Veria called Simply natural. I think she's Vegan as I can't remember her using any dairy or eggs in any recipes. Veria is channel 9575 on Dishnetwork...in my area anyway.
