Guest guest
cold here in Southern Connecticut, This morning it was snowing and cold, I was so bundled up for my walk to the train I looked like the kids from A Christmas Story. Currently it is 10 degrees out. Glad I am inside. Gayle In a message dated 1/15/2009 8:07:41 P.M. Guest guest
Thank you! I looked 2 times, the second time I got a full view of the pier, ocean waves, sunset and palm trees. How gorgeous is that? Guest guest
Lovely! 66 degrees sure beats 9! We won't see 66 at night until May. Ugh! I grocery shopped on my lunch hour today and kept my fingers crossed that nothing would freeze in the car until I left at 7:00. I hate winter and I am especially hating this winter. It was very warm here today. I was peeling things off and had to stop the car and get my comfortable sandals out of the trunk today. I hope better weather is headed your way soon. Guest guest
It is -30 (celcius) here today with the wind chill. That translates to about -22 in Fahrenheit. It's sunny so it's not so bad!! Guest guest
Off topic, but I had to ad my 2 cents that it's been 80-85 degrees every day this week in Sherman Oaks/Studio City, California. What global warming? Feel so bad for the folks in Chicago with coldest weather since 1897, and folks around the US who are freezing and shoveling snow! Guest guest
Me, too. It's 83 degrees F outside. I'm in Ojai, about 70 miles from where you are. My sister's car broke down in Detroit this morning and she had to walk a few blocks in below freezing winds. So close but so far. - " judith bell " <judithb Friday, January 16, 2009 1:26 PM Re: if you look right now you can see the sunset OT > Off topic, but I had to ad my 2 cents that it's been 80-85 degrees every > day this week in Sherman Oaks/Studio City, California. Guest guest
It's wonderful how close we all can be to one another with our support, making one anothers recipes, sharing laughs and yet we are all so far away. I'm thankful everyday for the group. Guest guest
We're getting up to 36 degrees F here in Kansas City this weekend! Which is nice and balmy, considering we just had a week of 2-10 degree F weather... Audrey S. On Fri, Jan 16, 2009 at 3:51 PM, Ann James <ajtrans wrote: > Me, too. It's 83 degrees F outside.
