It was from a Swiss company and probably mostly potato flakes, however it made tasty patties for a hurry-call dinner along with a hot veggie. Also went well with that famous 80s food, ketchup! ; ) Your e-neighbor, Donna R
Guest guest
Oh I remember Bosco. You can still order it online. http://www.boscoworld.com/ Sigh. I miss something from quite a way before the 70's - FFV (Famous First Families of VA) Lemon Thins. I have looked and looked but no lemon thins, booo hoooooo!!!! Then Pepperidge Farms had a wonderful molasses crisp cookie and they stopped producing them! ACK! Is there no justice for cookie addicts in this world? Paper thin, good lemon flavor...sigh...the others were paper thin crunchy molasses wonderfulness...OOOOOOOOOOOOOooh and Charms lolipops, the lime ones. Used to be green hard candy was lime, now it is green apple. Eh. whimper Jeanne in GA
Guest guest
I loved Charms pops too, the little ridges on top always tore up my mouth. Grape and cherry yumola! I liked to dip them in my Coke, if my Mom only knew. LOL her idea of drink was herbal tea and candy should be raisins. Now what kid is going to behave for a mini box of raisins hahahaha Donna Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Jeanne B <treazured Fri, 6 Mar 2009 14:42:33 Re: 70s food I miss Oh I remember Bosco. Guest guest
Jeanne B, I remember both of those cookies and they were marvelous...wish I knew where to get them today also. Closest thing to the molasses cookies is something I pick up at the Dollar store that is in the shape of a Windmill....my husband and I love these but they still don't quite match the taste and texture of the other cookies. --- On Fri, 3/6/09, Jeanne B <treazured wrote: Jeanne B <treazured Re: 70s food I miss Friday, March 6, 2009, 2:42 PM Oh I remember Bosco. Guest guest
OMG, yeah, Bosco!!!!!!!! :) Especially over vanilla ice cream, which, as it melted, we stirred up & drank from the bowl as a wonderful cold chocolate cream soup... ________________________________ " thelilacflower " <thelilacflower Vegetarian Group Friday, March 6, 2009 1:52:22 PM Re: 70s food I miss I don't remember Frittini at all.
