Beans?

Believe it or not you can use them to make:

Milk for drinking, cereal and yogurt.

Veggie broth for soups

Pea-bean gravy and pasta sauce

Filler for tacos, burritos, sloppy-joe sandwiches

Main course e.g. Black beans, Red beans ... with rice

Pudding base for sweet and non-fat desserts

Plus they will add jet-propulsion to your life!

Hi Stephannie,

You can always use a little help from your friends. I use a soymilk

maker machine to make milk products, yogurt and pudding from various

types of beans and grains. And I use a grain mill for making bean and

grain flours -- that can be used with a blender, or immersion blender,

to make legume based broth, gravy and mixed with tomatoes for pasta

sauce. A strong blender (like a vitamix or Bosch) can also chip larger

dry beans into bean flakes for tacos or sloppy joes, or use lentils. I

didn't mention chili, or whole grain breads or half-a-dozen other

dishes. But you get the idea. ;)

Take care,

Slim
