I've been reading up on pressure cookers for almost a year now and knew exactly what I wanted-weighted, not gauge, etc. You are right, quinoa cooks so fast I won't worry about it. I will be careful with it. My mom has had glass baking pans explode resulting in 7 layer bars all over the ceiling (they are now called exploding cookies in our house), so I am always very careful of possible explosions in the kitchen!
