Guest guest Posted March 24, 2009 Report Share Posted March 24, 2009 I was speaking at a Culinary Tourism conferece two weeks ago in Vancouver. My colleague and I went to West for dinner. We both had the vegetarian tasting menu and it was fantastic. Not cheap (I understand The West is one of the nicer restaurants in a city of great food) but wonderful. The service was terrific. You can see the tasting menu at: http://www.westrestaurant.com/menus/tasting-menus#menu3 Since I am pregnant and my colleague doesn't really drink much we ordered " virgin cocktails...surprise us " which were also delicious. I understand that they will also make a virgin drink for each course of the tasting menu.
