Guest guest Posted December 12, 2008 Report Share Posted December 12, 2008 Silky Chocolate After Dinner Tart 1 cup heavy whipping cream ( do not substitute this ingredient) 7 ozs. bittersweet chocolate, chopped 1 egg yolk 1 prebaked pastry shell, 9 inch Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a small saucepan, bring cream to a simmer. Remove from heat and add chocolate. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Let sit 5 minutes. Stir in egg yolk until thoroughly combined. Pour into pastry shell and bake until center of tart is just starting to firm up, about 25 minutes. Let cool to room temperature. Serves 8.
