Guest guest
Cassie, keep in mind that considering the ingredients there is no way that they're going to turn out like traditional brownies.? I've made these and mine pretty much turned out the same way...thin and more fudge like than brownie like but still tasted good.? There's really no way you could mess up this recipe and I'm sure they turned out exactly the way they were supposed to.? Guest guest
Thanks TM. I really like them, and I have some homemade whipped cream (from the files) to add to the pan. I was eating them like crazy last night, as I have no issue with the gooey/messiness of them. They were just not acceptable to take to work, and I was hoping to surprise them all with brownies made with black beans. When I read dense, I thought thick and pretty firm. So, I guess my impression was off. I still can't wait to get home at 4:30 and snack ont he rest of them tonight! LOL Cassie
Guest guest
I tried these today, and I'd definitely make them again. I cooked them an additional 5-7 minutes, and they were cooked thoroughly and were dense. I decreased the sugar (big mistake) and substituted applesauce for one of the eggs. I think next time I'll add peanut butter (because I can never exactly follow a recipe!) or butterscotch chips maybe. My hubby really liked them! Thanks for sharing this recipe!!! -- In , TendrMoon wrote: > > There's really no way you could mess up this recipe and I'm sure they turned out exactly the way they were supposed to.? >
