Guest guest
Hi, I'm a newbie to this group but an old non-meatatarian. Here is my hello post: My favorite dessert is the " Chocolate tofu pie " . It is so easy that it should be illegal. 1 box of silken tofu [soft] 12 oz chocolate chips Premade graham cracker crust 1 tbsp vanilla extract Optional: ~1/2 cup of peanut butter [smooth or chunky] Drain the tofu and blend in the blender or any suitable device to make it creamy and smooth. In the meantime, melt the chocolate chips. After the tofu is blended, add the melted chocolate and vanilla extract and mix. If you want to add the PB add it now. Pour into the graham cracker crust and top it off with some chocolate chips or peanuts if so desired. Chill in the refrigerator or place in the freezer to solidify. In a couple of hours, slice and savor the smoothness and creamy texture. My friends had 2 pieces of pie before they asked for the cheesecake recipe! They were quite surprised when I told them it was tofu! Caio Mary
