Guest guest
Vegan Irish Soda Bread 2 cups flour (I used 1 cup each 7 grain & kamut flours) 1 teaspoon baking soda 2 teaspoons sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup plain soy milk (or rice milk, almond milk, etc) Preheat oven to 400 F. Mix the dry ingredients together. Add the milk and use your hands to mix it in well. (Add more flour if the dough is sticky, more milk if it's too dry.) Shape into a ball and put on cookie sheet. Bake until golden brown, about 25-30 minutes. Quick and easy! Be creative with the flour mixtures. Makes a nice crusty loaf - great with stew or chili on a cool autumn evening. If you're not vegan, simply use cow's milk!
