Guest guest
I have several I printed. I have enough to fill one binder and almost a second one. My goal is to use them more but that's a different question. Some of them have several types of recipes on one page. (dessert, vegetable, main course, bread, etc) so I can't separate them that way. I have them in plastic sheet protectors now. I've thought of writing page numbers on them and typing an index. I could just continue on and not try to sort them but I'd like to find a way to sort/organize them. What's the easiest way to organize when I have a lot of papers with different recipe types on one page? Uhura
Guest guest
If you have access to a scanner or copier you can seperate out the different types of recipes on each page. I have a huge 3 ring binder that I have tabs in for the different catagories. I'm getting ready to get a second large 3 ring binder to expand into as the first is getting too heavy. Eventually I hope to have a different binder for each category and then each binder seperated with tabs into subcatagories. I had to copy a bunch of recipes when I had several on one page. It's worth it sometimes to copy to a color copy to keep the really nice pictures some pages had, like ones I've torn out from magazines. I figure the binders will be handed down to my children when I'm gone so I'm trying to do a nice job with them. Guest guest
if I have multiples on one sheet I usually photo copy and cut/separate them into categories. I file mine in file folders in a file box on my kitchen counter, which for me is easier than getting out a binder eveytime I need to add recipes since I have so MANY!--- In , " pierce407720032003 " <sacornelius wrote: > > I have several I printed. Guest guest
-I bought a beautifully illustrated journal at the thrift store for $1. The title *Cook's Notebook*, contains wonderful poetry and pictures of herbs and veggies. I copy favorite recipes from you nice people and my own experiments. I then make notations of texture, taste, date, etc. I've found several similar journals , sometimes less than a dollar and they are perfect for recipes and food notes. You can also find garden journals . I purchased a beautiful one for $1 that was originally marked $14.99. It is brand new and is a calandar-journal with photos of Monet's Gardnes at Giverny. A friend gifted me with a beautiful journal with pictures of moon, stars, sky. For a year a niece and I kept a " moon journal " . Observing the *Heavens and the moon phases*, writing poetry and sharing it with each other. Life is just way too much fun sometimes Deanna in Colorado also at recycled_gardens *********************************************************************( " mylameoww\ " <mylameoww wrote: > if I have multiples on one sheet I usually photo copy and cut/separate them into categories.
