Hi,

Just a followup. Macy's list prices shown can actually be higher

than other places say the list price is. I don't understand that but . . .

I think at the store the KitchenAid 750 was listed at about 280.

Amazon says the list is 250. Amazon's price is 164.

With a 40% discount, the Macy's price with tax came down to about

$165*. Since I signed up for a Macy's card I will supposedly get 15%

off the 165, so 165-24.75 = 140.25. In addition to that there is a $20

mail in rebate on that model so my final price is about $120.25.

Not too bad, IMHO.

They also have Cuisinart models. So, if you have a Macy's in your

area, something to keep in mind.

*Something is a little screwy with that discount.

(151.19+14.74(tax)) . 279.99 * 0.60 = 167.99, not 151.19.

Hm, (151.19/0.6) = 251.98 would have been the original

price, considering a 40% discount. Sorry, math brainitis.

OT - Macy's Sale - 40% off food processors

Hi,

I just got an email ad from Macy's and it says all food processors

are on sale for 40% off. It definitely seems to be tomorrow. It

says today is a preview day. I don't know if that means the sale

starts today or not.

Just thought I would mention it for those looking for a food

processor. I may stop by . . .

Gary
