Guest guest
Beth, I'm an A neg too. When they talk about the eat right for your type, they are just meaning A, B, or O....not neg or positive. Anyway, I have interstitial cystitis and that cuts out alot of food for me to eat, though I eat some of the " no no foods " - but I do feel better when I don't. Went to a chronic pain seminar and this lady was talking about this book (Eat Right for your Blood Type) and she was an " A " like me. Since I had already watched my foods and noticed I felt better on eating more veggies, I believed in that book. One guy spoke too and he said he thought he'd go on a veggie diet to feel better and lose weight - but because he was a " B " , he felt worse and gained. Anyway, my nutritionist says there is no statitics on this being true, but I do know I feel better leaving off " acid foods " - which is about ALL foods, except most veggies. LOL I'm just joining this group and need to go online and check these recipes. Alot have Campbell's Soup in it and I can't eat that soup anymore - NITRITES and NITRATES bother me. I have to eat BLAND foods. But I will check the recipes soon. Still painting the inside of my house. Just got the hallway (below chair railing) painted tonight. Can't wait to get this painting finished. Everyone have a great evening, and great Sunday. Guest guest
Fuhrman has a lot say about D'Adamo, the guy who wrote the book about blood types and diet. Bottom line, Fuhrman thinks D'Adamo displays a poor understanding of basic human physiology. He spends six to seven pages of Eat to Live debunking the whole thing. - DJ ----------------------- Always remember: Today's mighty oak is simply yesterday's nut that held its ground... _____ On Behalf Of Wanda McGlamery Saturday, April 04, 2009 4:52 PM Re: Re: BETH and all Beth, I'm an A neg too. Guest guest
Brooke, I am AB positive and I think I read quite some time ago that blood type shouldn't be vegetarian, but as I haven't eaten m**t for over 20 years, I think I have to ignore that advice. : ) June , Willa <willabrooksen wrote: > > hello to all of you > this is very interesting > i am ab negative > i do not see anyone else on here with that > am i a combo of a and b ?? > regards > brooke
