Guest guest Posted June 28, 2009 Report Share Posted June 28, 2009 paneer burji Ingredients 2 blocks Paneer, crumbled coarsely 2 finely chopped medium onions 1 tsp ginger paste 1 tsp garlic paste 1 tsp chopped green chillies 1 chopped tomato 4-5 cashew nuts, cut into small bits 1 green bell pepper cut into thin strips 1/2 tsp garam masala powder 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper powder 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp sugar 2 tsp red chilli powder Salt to taste 1 tsp lemon juice 2 tbsp ghee(clarified butter) for frying MethodHeat ghee in a heavy saucepan. Add the ginger-garlic paste and fry for one minute..Add the cashewnuts, onions , green chillies and bellpepper and stir fry till the onions turn color.Add the tomatoes and keep frying till the tomatoesturn mushy.Add all the dry powders and fry for one minute.Add the crumbled paneer, salt and the lemon juice.Mix well, heat through and eat hot with naan or chapathi.
