Guest guest
It is really hard to be outside in isn't it. It's been around 107 - 110 here heat index for about 3 weeks now. Way hotter than normal for our area. Seems like the eastern USA is really experiencing a significant heat wave that would be unbearable without AC. It is still 88 degree heat index at 10;30p.m. I know at church this past weekend, our church never seemed to get below 80 inside and the men all shed their suit jackets and rolled up their sleeves. I hate to think what our Electric bill will be this month. The health club we go to, is even having a hard time keeping it cool enough to exercise in. I thought I would die of heat, during our pilates class today. Guest guest
Trust me, I hear you about the weather. Here in PA, we've had it fluctuating so much that it's driving people nuts. At the moment it's hot, but not that hot. But we did have a heat wave of 90+ temps back in April of all months. Let me tell you that was misery and then some. I know I've tried shifting the schedule as much as possible for taking the furkids out on their walks as well. Much to their constant complaints lol. Guest guest
I feel for you all, the heat, humidity, and the fur kids! Fortunately, my little dog gets chilled in the AC and likes to go sit on the patio and " defrost " -- it's when it's 20 degrees or less in the winter (and/or ice and snow) that he balks. 107 today, and in this part of the midwest, we have such humid weather it's hard to breathe... My sister who moved to Denver last summer can't get her naturally curly hair to curl there, it's so dry compared to Kansas City! Audrey S.
