I¹ve been trying to look this up with no luck. Today at the grocery as I

was buying fruits and vegetables I ran across a upc on tomatoes beginning

with the number 3. I know those beginning with 8 are genetically modified,

those with 4 are regular and those with 9 are organic, but had no clue what

a 3 meant. Anyway, I just decided to forget the tomatoes because of this.

It¹s rare that I even buy tomatoes out of season after we¹ve grown them

ourselves.
