Guest guest
Greetings all, I've been working and have not participated in many a moon. Your rich offerings over the past couple of days were balsam for the soul. Never met a vegetable that I didn't like, but I've met a few that didn't like me, including green peppers. Perhaps if fresh from the garden and tender? I don't like mayonnaise and can't tolerate canola oil. I do love Pink Floyd. Many a story about hitchhiking and hearing PF. And now, a winter salad offering. Serves two hungry people, or a side dish for 4. steam or gently simmer, 1 bunch shredded or chopped Lacinato kale (the dark blackish kind), until tender boil 5 purple finger or new red potatoes, until tender, then slice in 1/2 rounds return all to a warm pot while you mix: 3 tbsp fig balsamic vinegar (or cider vinegar) 1/8 c walnut oil (or olive oil) salt and pepper to taste and/or 1 tbsp Spike seasoning gently toss all together in warm pot and serve warm Donna R Studio City, CA
