Guest guest
I have a tv which is more of dust collector more than anything. Could not even tell you what is on tv anymore. Have not used it in years. For some reason I think I need it still. Gave the rest of them away on Freecycle. Now what you have to watch out for is that you do not get addicted to sitting in front of the PC for hours on end. I have XM radio and get more entertainment out of listening to talk and comedy shows. Also lots of music. , irene wrote: > > Hi, Pam -- > > We've been without television for about ten years so when I happen to > walk past one I'm always amazed by the overwhelming amount of shouted > advertising and grim-faced bad news it concentrates on. Guest guest
I have XM but don't listen to Talk shows. Radio Classics is good, The Symphony channel, The Joint, Bluesville, Jazz, lots of excellent music channels. And once in a while one of the comedy channels.
