As with anything it can eat up a great deal of time, so everything in moderation, but I would hate to be without a TV. It keeps me in touch with the rest of the world and what is going on. It is a lot of company for many folks. So are the radio and audio books. We watch the TLC, Weather Channel, Discovery channels, Food TV, HGTV, History channel, Foxnews Channel(some), National Geographic, 3ABN, etc. They enrich our life and knowledge a ton. I love Mystery Diagnosis, Dr G. Medical Examiner. It is very interesting. Love the cooking shows on 3ABN and the Food TV channel. I've gotten so much more creative in my cooking by watching these channels. My creative decorating nature has truely been learned a ton by HGTV. We love it. Have a wonderful evening.
