Guest guest
I`m finally getting into the habbit of cooking beans rather than canned. I`m guessing I can make large amounts and freeze them in the same water I cook them in - what do you think? Mike

Guest guest
Hi Mike. You might find that the beans become very " mushy: if you freeze them in any liquid. If you drain them really well, they will freeze wonderfully and are best thawed in the fridge rather than speeding up the process (if you're in a rush). This way they maintain their consistency well, almost as if they were just cooked. Good luck with your efforts !!
