Terrible insomnia and e-mailed a friend, asking her all kinds of questions about something I know she had no idea about. A couple of years ago I was taking a prescription sleeping pill (extra stress at school). I only took it for a couple of weeks, and it helped me get back into a sleep mode, and I felt great and well-rested the morning after. But I figured out pretty quickly that I was making phone calls for the first hour after I took the sleeping pill, while " under the influence " -- I'd talk to my mom, my sister, friends, be real chatty, and then remember next to none of the conversation, talk about scary! (After an hour, I did fall asleep -- but I was pretty active immediately after taking it.) I also woke up one morning and found THREE ice cream sandwich wrappers next to the bed!!! Audrey S. Apparently, we made plans to meet the next day, but I didn't remember any of it until he called to ask why I was 30 minutes late! Needless to say, I didn't go out with him again!! Audrey S.
