Guest guest Posted March 15, 2009 Report Share Posted March 15, 2009 Red Cabbage and Apples 1 1/2 tbsps. unsalted butter 1 lb. red cabbage, cooked, trimmed, quartered and sliced 2 Golden Delicious or Jonathan apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced 1/4 tsp. salt, or to taste Melt butter in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Sauté cabbage and apples 5 minutes, or until cabbage begins to soften. Reduce heat to medium-low. Add salt and pepper to taste.
